In my newest video (https://tinyurl.com/Salesforce2020Q3andSlack) I briefly review the Salesforce earnings announcement for Q3 2020, their sales history, and their stock price history. I then take a closer look at their Q3 income statement and Slack’s Q3 income statement and I comment on the combined results of both companies. I also try to reconcile the $27.7 billion purchase price with Slack’s outstanding shares. I conclude by talking about the large debit to goodwill that will end up on Salesforce’s balance sheet.
