This short nine-minute video is a recording of a conversation that I had with Brien Jones of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA). The video was recorded in the Omni Dallas Hotel in Dallas on 22 June 2012. The video was recorded during the 2012 Annual Consultants’ Conference and after my session (Friday, 10:15 am to 11:55 am) that was titled “Benford’s Law: A review, relevant findings, and recent applications.” In the video I talk about Benford’s Law, the Madoff Ponzi scheme (which was still current news at that time), continuous monitoring, the need for professional skepticism, and playing darts. The video has been posted in the Data Analytics playlist in my YouTube channel (Mark Nigrini) and can be seen by clicking here.
